Camelot (1967)

Beverley Operatic Society were the first company in the North of England to perform an amateur production of Camelot.

The legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table opened at the Beverley Memorial Hall to rave reviews (by the Hull Daily Mail, who else). The success of this production prompted the society to look for a bigger and more professional venue for it's next production of Robert & Elizabeth, starting the Society's 22 year run at the New Theatre in Hull.
